Words can motivate

  • Are you generally a good-humored person?
  • What do you do when you generally feel down?
  • How often do you have a real good laugh?
  • Have you ever willingly made a complete fool of yourself?
The video below from Anger Management shows that having a sense of humor is a great way to boost your energy and improve your mood.

Can you complete the lines as you watch?

I feel ........., oh so ..............
I feel ................. and ....................... and .......................
And I pity any ........ who isn't me today
I feel .............................., oh so ............................
It's ..................................... how ........................... I feel
And so .................... that I can hardly believe I'm ..............
See that ................. girl in that mirror there.

What do you do to boost your energy and improve your mood?

I´m usually a good- humored person but when I'm feeling a bit depressed, sad,
I do as the "Rebel Novice Nun":

"I simply remember my favorite things,
And then I don't feel so bad".

And things that make me boost my energy are:

A hot tube.
A chocolate bar ( Lindt is my favorite)
Walking barefoot on the sand.
Watching the sunset in Arpoador.
Listening to Ravel bolero.
Reading my favorite poems.
Looking at photos from my childhood. ( The one I`m riding my pink bike all by myself for the first time brings me a sense of achievement).

If none of the options above work out,
I GO SHOPPING !!!!
